前天，爷爷在泥泞里修了一条坎坷不平的路
昨天，爸爸为它铺上沙子栽上杨树
今天，我们能否写出前天昨天的风华

儿时，奶奶眯起眼睛坐在门前
望着烟袋锅里的丝丝烟雾飘向门外的街港
天天飘荡着她的期望心路
少年，妈妈抄起满屋飘香的油盐饭
啥时掀开锅都有一碗
香甜着从没有失望过的小路

我们要扛起前天昨天的足迹
给明天酿造童声的歌谣
不要因为今天躺在没有被褥的床上
就不给前天昨天的荆棘
时光买单

要用前天的鞋底标出航线
用昨天的衣衫挂起风帆
用今天的针线穿连天涯海角
去航行明天灿烂



译文：
road
The day before yesterday,
My grandfather was repairing a muddy road,
Yesterday my father was planting a poplar tree.
Today,
I am wondering whether i am able to paint the elegance of the passed stories.

During my childhood time,
My grandmother had always sat in front of the house,
Staring at the smoky air rising and falling at the back lanes of the streets.
Might be she had been dreaming to fullfill her wish.

During my teenage time,
My mother always cooked some rice which arosed houseful of fragrances.
Whenever the covers of the pots be opened,
The fragrant of the rices were floating in the house,
Never had she ever disappointed anyone who had passed by.

We have to uphold yesterday’s memories.
We have to compose tomorrow”s song.
Never be discouraged by today’s unhappy events；
Or be it yesterday’s or the day before yesterday’s...
And never stop moving forward.
You will soon realize that time will pay all the bills.

Try to use yesterday’s challenges to set today’s sail,
And make use of used clothes to hang up the wind surf,
Try to use today’s thread to sew for tomorrow wish.
You will soon realize that we will have a bright future.
